Open DWG / DXF drawings
Save a complete file and open it from the app or another Android / iOS app.
Prepare the complete file
Save the complete DWG or DXF to a location your Android or iOS device can access. Renaming an extension does not convert a file, so confirm its actual format.
Choose and open a file
Open the system file picker from the app’s home screen and select the saved drawing. In WeChat, QQ, DingTalk or a file manager, you can also choose Open with another app and select CAD Assistant. The default local workflow parses the drawing on the device without uploading it.
If the file will not open
Check that the download is complete, the actual format is DWG / DXF and file access is allowed. Continue to the troubleshooting guide if the problem remains.
