Show, hide and isolate layers
Filter the content by layer, then return to the whole drawing.
Understand the layer panel
The layer list shows names, colors and entity counts. Show, hide or isolate a layer, or restore all layers. Names and organization come from the original CAD file.
Focus on the current content
Open the layer panel and hide unrelated layers, or isolate the layer you need to check. Use Show all when you finish, then review the whole drawing.
Missing an object? Check visibility.
Check whether the object’s layer is hidden or still isolated. Layer controls support viewing and review; they do not replace design management in the source file.
Screens and available features depend on the version installed.
